Session background / overview

The biggest challenge small to medium sized associations/non-profits face when organising events in-house is the limited time, money and resources available. The pressure mounts when considering the growing expectations of participants.

A large number of these associations do not have the resources available to hire an in-house events specialist or outsource the organisation to an external agency, often relying on volunteers, executive or medical assistants, marketing, fundraising or other staff to organise them.

In this 4-hour interactive workshop, we will help you to unlock the potential of your events, providing a roadmap and toolkit that will set you on the right path to producing impactful events with measurable deliverables for your association/non-profit.

Workshop goals and objectives

In this interactive and engaging workshop, participants will gain understanding about:

  • The 10 main aspects of organising a medium-to-large-scale event in-house and how they are interlinked with each other
  • The three keystone questions that found the basis for all successful events
  • Explore two key areas that will take your events to the next level

It is important to come to the workshop with one or more of your upcoming events in mind to use as concrete case studies. This will help you get the most out of the practical exercises.

We are looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, 28 March!
